You’re walking through the dim, neon-lit streets of Hong Kong. A crowd has formed in front of a bar, and you hear the low rhythm of its music spilling into the streets. You get closer and can feel the building vibrating. Electric guitar, violin, bass and drums fill your ears. Inside, people stomp their feet on a sticky floor and hold their drinks in the air as they sing along with the band on stage. There’s six of them, and they’re like a gang of brothers, taking everyone along on their joyride. There is something familiar about the music; it’s inviting and infectious, but it’s also a little hectic. The Young Bucks play Canadian folk music soaked in whisky and smoked with burnt tires.

Got a hankering for authentic Americana, Canadian Alt-Rock, or some big rowdy, rowdy tunes? This motley crew of Canadians (and one supremely chill American) have come together in Hong Kong to serve you exactly this. Their debut album includes 10 tracks that chronicle everything from growing up on the rural East Coast of Canada to life under the big city lights. Expected release is June 2021. Listen to their self-titled EP for a preview of what's to come!
